Yesteryear Collection

Its name evokes two legendary images: one ancient and one more recent. The ancient Scottish legend of Tam O'Shanter spoke of a beautiful siren who appeared in a torn chemise or "cutty sark." In pursuing her, the hero attained great speed, always hoping to catch his dream.
It was this speed that was invoked in the 19th century when the great clipper ship was christened "Cutty sark" and was considered the fastest ship of that Golden Age of Sail.

In our time, Cutty Sark is more easily recognized as the splendid quality Scots Whiskey. Established on March 20, 1923 by the wine and spirit merchants, Berry Brothers, Cutty Sark was the first light-colored quality whisky. It immediately set the standard for Scots Whiskies the world over. Cutty Sark's consistent balance, soft vanilla notes, outstanding quality and genuine character are the result of craft, dedication and skill in the art of distilling, maturing and blending.
Speyside malts are blended in American oak casks and matured in the Scottish Highlands. The mature, blended, single whiskies are casked again and allowed to settle for an additional six months.
This painstaking and deliberate process results in one of the finest Scots Whiskies in the world.

Now, the worlds most recognized Scots Whiskey - Cutty Sark - is celebrated in a unique die-cast replica of a 1929 Morris Light Van. Marked with authentic graphics, your Cutty Sark 1029 Morris Light Van is produced by - and available only from - Matchbox Collectibles.
